Description
Patchouli oil comes from a species of a shrubby plant with the genus Pogostemon, endemic to the tropical regions of Asia. In ancient India, the herb was used as aphrodisiac, in Japan, it is used as an antidote for stinging poisonous snakes, while Chinese medicine recommends the herb to deal with headaches.
