Description
The Clove Bud, scientific name Eugenia Cariophyllata is an evergreen tree of the Myrtaceae family, indigenous to Indonesia and Madagascar clove can be found in nature as the unopened pink flower buds. The therapeutic effect of the plant has been known since antiquity. Ancient Greeks and Romans used it to relieve toothaches, ancient Persians as a love affair, while the Chinese to fight bad breath.
